I'll start off a subject that is surely more interesting than whether or not someone should scream when they join a channel in IRC...  

What is your favorite D2 tactic? (it has to apply to more than one build)

Here's one of my favorites:

• Life-casting: when you create a golem/decoy/valkyrie/shadow/etc. at a certain spot to draw the enemy in a certain direction, so that you can maneuver. It's a crowd-control tactic.

yeah that's a nice defensive move

hm, my one is you gotta love and have lots of AR on melee chars   .. helps in more ways then one..  more ar = better chance to do more damage against someone with less defense, helps your blocking
