a glitch merc is a act 3 merc(dont madder what one) with a hoj 2 dreams and a dragom armor.  To get his damage to go into higher and higher u take the armor on and off 50+ times. then u do it to the wepon...  the more u do this the higher the aura damage goes up.  it stacks the aura and instead of 2 lightning and 2 fire it will go up to like 1000 lightning and 1000 fire if u do it enough.

Yes, merc glitching has not worked for months and months.
