I've actually successfully built an effective Hammermite....
I maxed Holy Shield, Fanat and Hammers...also maxed Defiance and dropped 7 pts into Salvation....now I'm puttin remaining points in blessed aim...
I only do 1200 Hammer damage, but that's enough to make the Immune to Physicals cringe and my smiter could solo ubers at 82 and stomp dclone at 77...
not recommended for everyone as it requires some ubergodly gear to make him remotely effective....

Judicator, nuff said.
Blessed Hammer Damage - 10,341.1 - 10,424.4
Fist of the Heavens Damage - 4,354.8 - 4,456.8
Conviction Negative Resists - -90% @ 13.2 Yards
Concentration Enhanced Damage - +495% @ 52 Yards
Vigor Velocity - +46% @ 72.6 Yards
This was before 1.11, and torches. Most deadly paladin build ever made, but extremely hard to use. I beleive the stats speak for its self.

I would have to say Zeal-Smiter. It's a good mix to help people in all cases - both with crowd control, and with ubers/dclone.

HDINTER ??? HDIN PLUS SMITER
You shall do complete hdin and at lvl 99 u put one point into fanat... there you go ..
At least thats how I did.. and its working perfectly.. only thing i gotta do is change hoto for grief.. and ubers are past..
plus dueling is awsome just add some gores and highlords and its done..
etc..
its a very managable character..

Hammerdin... So easy to rape everymob in the game, and once you get good gear can handle ubers and do rushes very quickly.

My favorite by far is the Dual Dream Zealot build. If done properly, he can be a shock and awe chara...pardon the bad pun. Seriously though, unlike most melee charas phys munes are no problem at all and they can even withstand the dreaded Iron Maiden.
Build stats...Gear: BotD Zerk/Lawbringer Phase Blade, Dream Bone Visage, Resist Base Dream Shields, CoH Armor, Angelic Rings and Ammy, Gorerider Boots, Blood Crafted Gloves, and String of Ears Belt. Merc gets Infinity, Fort or CoH, and Andy's Helm.
Skills: Max the folowing...Zeal, Sacrifice, Fanat, Resist Lightning, and Holy Shield. Then put the rest to Defiance.
Stat Points: I usually go 111 Str for Wire Fleece CoH. No other reason than it looks evil with the Bone Visage and make you stand out in a crowd of Archon sporting Hammerdins. Between the added Str from the rest of your gear you can pretty much equip any shield base you wish. 136 Dex to equip Phase Blade Lawbringer and get Block/AR up to respectable levels. The rest into Vit.
This build generally gets 14 -15K Solo damage with proper gear and charms.

Is there a guide for the Healadin? O_o
(If so, could someone post it? Kinda interested in this)

I voted for Hammerdin cuz almost everyplayer uses them and they are excellent rusher and mfer but its true they cant do dclone and ubers for nuts.
Wonder if its possible to build an effective din and an excellent charger/smiter. The latter to take care of all those idiots who like to hostile a din. Is there a proven build for this?

So unimaginative is the hammerdin. Real men use Martyrs (aka Suiciders). Build up your life steal and you can hit easy 15k. Building one right now

Made a genereic hammerdin, botted it to level 97.
Had skills maxed at 20 each :
conc
hammers
etc etc
all but holy shield, and was waiting for 97, before i realized i hadn't done 3 skills worth of quests ><.
Wasted em on useless crap
