I like the light,.. it sounds like: VVVVVXXXXUUUUMMMMMM.. and I have more damge then with fire..

I have a good light damage on my sorc..

I can do 6940 maximum .. I kill the red monsters real fast.. and I can even kill more than one in a single shot.. its real cool my sorc..

I have a yellow armor with 79 defense and they dont touch me almost..ehee..

And even if they come to kill me i can run away because I have teleport..

The best build is a fireball/es sorc with shiver armor. This build is easy
Max fireball and all its synergies, then put one point into warmth, shiver armor, and energy shield.
Dump maybe 20 points into dex and enough strength to wear your equip and the like. Then put the rest into vitality. But this without gear is stupid and will get you killed.**
So for gear you need the following EXACTLY.
DsEnigma/MpEnigma (Dont do anything else unless its like serpentskin, nothing less than 120 defense and no more than dusk shroud strength)
Maras, Two stones of jordan
Arachnid's Mesh Belt
Sandstorm Trek boots
Magefist gauntlets (2 uped if you want, more strength req but enigma should take care of that)
Perfect Fire Eschuta with 5/5 die
Shako with 5/5 die
35 FCR Spirit Monarch
One 6 strength Fire gc
One 6 Dex fire gc
One 30+ life Fire gc
10X 4 all res lifers/FHR(Make sure it has the res. If you cant get ahold of the ones with mods, go for 5all res sc)
20 stat Anni(Must be 20 stat dont care about res to much but the more the better
20 stat Sorc Torch(Same as above)
The rest of your inventory should me Small charms with Atleast 15life/15 mana on each. The more the better but dont go below 15/15
And for your switch a 6/6 Cta Flail and another Spirit Monarch
** After doing the skills, the rest of your points go into warmth. By level 90 you want a total of atleast 400% mana regen from warmth +mages

With this build i can take a 17k hammer to the head and have about 300 life left. My sorc has almost 3k life and 1.5k mana or some such. I'll post the exact ammount later. See with this build also you can teleport and gain mana, which is good cause lets say a barb is whackin at you, just teleport away as much as you want and you'll gain full mana in about 45 teleports. You really want the 4res/FHR because smiters will hit you and the stun makes it hard to run away. So the more FHR the better. You can cut the Amout of Res/fhr sc down to 5 if you want but i prefer 10. Anyways i've taken on this bm Necro and kicked his arse. He had two dwarfs, spurs, and 4 fire immune summons, and tmc so you see my problem. I won though with about 300 life left. The only problem is that when you get really low on life you may want to teleport way off and switch to your cta for life regen, cause there is none on your main weapons. You should be dealing 19k-20k which is plenty. That bull about 25k fb is nonsense, you get killed to easy. Someone just sorbs you and kicks your ass. With this you take the hit, and hit harder.

My light-orb sorc works very well for me.  Much preferred over my old meteorb sorc..does way more dmg and baals much better.

Fb/orber is my favorite setup.
Once you get the build right, its down right dirty.

I voted Orb/TS because I loved & miss my old .09 sorc.

my favorite is a hydra/orb/es hybrid

max orb+synergy, add a few to tk and 4-5 to es, then the rest to hydra (one to fire mastery and then fireball if there's extra).


this build can clear hell pretty damn easily with reallly junky gear

fireball sorcs are fun shit too, and lit sorcs, and and and hmmm, actually I've yet to try a sorc build that I didn't like, but meteorb is really really fun, takes some work on aiming.

NO ENERGY SHIELD, IT BREAKS THE BUILD

1pt in Warmth

1pt in the pre-req's for Frozen Orb
all remaining points split between F-Orb and Cold Mastery (I put more into Mastery, get it up to lvl 37 and you break immunes)
