This is a tough poll for me.  

I decided i wanted to go with cheesecake!!!  *kiss   *man in love

I have consumed much more chocolate cake compared to teh cheesecake.  Now i can have some variety.

Sorry sango but chocolate cake is for poor kids... i know i'm one of them >.<... i have it a lot and its very good but ya know... that cheesecake treat is like heaven on earth especially chocolate cheesecake or cherrycheesecake... ummmm ... cheesecake doesnt loose its appeal in my opinion... i live my life through my stomach or try to... any of you who know me shoudl realize this by now... i eat all the time and although i'm a poor kid i still gotta go with cheesecake... for example i got a nice fat paycheck the other day and decided to treat myself at walmart's frozen foods section... ummm good cheesecake is deffinitely gonna win when i got enough $$$$$ for it... note i ate like half of the thing in like one sitting and it was delish i couldnt put it down...

if i had my choice i would deffinitely eat chocolate cake with milk poured on it and eat that as an alternative to breakfast so in this sence i would have to go with chocolate bc cheesecake is too rich first thing in the morning but for a brunch meal i find it perfectly suitable :-D * for any of you old timers or people who just love comedy u would know i pick this chocolate cake for breakfast from bill cosby--> one of the greatest commedians of all time >.< woot gotta love cosby

now i also gotta know the type of frosting if its gonna be chocolate... and it does make a difference as well as the type of chocolate cake and who's making it ... i've had some really bad chocolate cake before but i've never had a bad tasting cheesecake... i've had cheesecake that was considered bad because it didnt turn out quite right but it still tasted heavenly... so this is another reason for voting cheesecake...

if anyone has had texas cake u would know that is probably the best chocolate cake one could ever have... its a chocolate cake with a consistancy much like a fresh not 5 min out of the oven brownie... its soft and goey with such a rich chocolate taste ummmm i'm salavating i better eat something quick ummm....

ah yes frosting >.< as i was getting to frosting makes a difference... is it penutbutter... vanila or choco on choco... what? u know i mean chocolate cake is so general yo... ya gotta be more specific...

if it was chocolate cake with penutbutter frosting .... aww man now then i would have to say that chocolate cake and cheesecake tie because i'm a penutbutter FREAK omg i love it.... ummmmm....

now if we were talking pies what would be the options/ favorites... i think personally i'd have to go with pecan pie... with whip cream and a scoop of vanila ice cream... HEAVEN ON EARTH... i gained soo much weight last year in Scurvo *the colege dining hall's nickname* just from eating pecan pie cuz they had it all the time... i'd go in and there would be a whole pie... just sitting there ... as if it had my name on it... no one else seemed to want it because it was always a whole pie and i'd come back for seconds and it would be the same as i left it ... someone up in heaven must like me because he always made sure there was more pecan pie for me to eat last year...

so perhapse we could start another voting post for pies but lets discuss the choices first * i opt that pecan be one of the choices if there is going to be a post on pies >.<... hummm THANK YOU GOD FOR HAVING SPRING BREAK THIS WEEK.... MY SIS IS GOING TO SCHOOL FOR COOKING AND PLZ GOD LET THEM BAKE WONDERFUL FOOD THIS WEEK TO SATISFY MY UNENDING APETITE >.<

cheesecake tastes like junk.. if "rich" people like junk let them have it..

uh nice arguments? i've never ate junk before, so i wouldn't know if cheesecake tasted like junk. not that the "chocolate cake is for poor kids" argument was any better. lmao. i actually never really thought about whether i prefer chocolate cake over cheesecake before. i personally like both. but i think it's easier to enjoy cheesecake over cake, because i'm very particular about how a cake should taste. i usually like it to taste a certain way. sometimes it's too plain or dry, and i need fruit or whipped cream to go with it. at times, it also just tastes like fluff. i guess it's sort of insubstantial as food? cheesecake on the other hand is filling, creamy, and rich. you can do so much with it, and i love the crust.

then again, i think my favorite cake ever that i ate was one i used to eat at luby's cafeteria years ago. i don't know the name of the cake and haven't had it anywhere else. luby's has changed a lot since back then, and i'm not even sure if they still even have that cake. i know i went one time, and it seemed like they had changed the recipe. the memory of it now is very vague, but i remember looking forward to eating it every time i went there. i always picked it over pecan pie. the cake was like cookie or solidified sugar with walnuts/pecans in it but melted in your mouth and topped with some kind of cream (sweeter than whipped cream). yummmm. i tried to make it one time with very poor results.

cheesecake has unique taste is enjoyable with stawberries or such but for this gal CHOCOLATE RULES!!

What about chocolate cheesecake?

Having a birthday shortly after Christmas, I would always get either a cheesecake or pumpkin pie instead of a traditional birthday cake.  I would enjoy getting the cheesecake, because I could get regular cake at any other of my friends birthday parties.
