There's a way to Reset Your Ip Address Using the Run Command, And typing cmd and something else... Ive done it b4(someone told me how, and then i forgot) and i was just wondering if anyone knew how to do it. i am running windows Xp and i would appreciate the help. thanks, and im sorry if im not supposed to be posting this where i did.

If you are talking about the ipconfig way, that method is long over due.  
But none the less, here it is...

ipconfig /release
remove power to modem
turn off computer
restore power to modem
turn on computer
It should grab a new IP if not repeat
